The Deep aquarium in Hull, one of the most popular attractions in the region, has announced it’s vacancy for the post of Marketing Officer. The award winning attraction has welcomed over 3.8 million visitors and is looking for the right person to join the team.
VACANCY: MARKETING OFFICER The Deep’s Marketing Officer creates and implements the marketing and sales plan for all aspects of the attraction’s commercial activities, reporting to the Communications Director. Marketing to consumers and the travel trade, the Officer drives the successful implementation of the company plan to maximise footfall, visitor spend, corporate events and brand promotion. Robust marketing knowledge is key for this post, ideally gained within the leisure and tourism industry. Excellent copywriting skills are required for impact within traditional and new media and strong negotiation techniques are essential to control budgets and marketing spend. Salary: £20k-23k per annum depending on experience.
