Calling all ambassadors, this is your chance to share your experiences of Yorkshire Passion.
I would love to hear about your top 5 things to do in Hull and East Yorkshire, these can be activities, places to visit, favourite restaurant or the best walk.
Post your entries and share your experiences with your fellow ambassadors.
It's hard to choose my 5 favourite things in the area - there's so much to do! At the moment I'm still walking along the impressive chalk cliffs of Flamborough Head.Everyone should visit Sledmere House, but don't forget to visit the excellent gallery on the opposite side of the road as well. If you're in Bridlington, try the newly opened "Nicoletta's", the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. In Beverley Minster we have one of the finest churches in the country. Make sure you go on the roof tour. At £5 per head it's a bargain, described by my 12 year old son as "awesome". Lastly, you just have to visit "The Deep". However - I've not tried the restaurant there yet will take advantage of the voucher.
Great to hear about Paul's favourite things in our area, when you stop and think about it, there is so much to see and do, yet we don't always appreciate what is on our own doorstep.
I recently came across an article written by a young lady from Beverley who, like many young people believed this area had nothing to offer, so she took off on a trip in search of something better only to find what she was looking for was in East Yorkshire all the time. Read her fascinating take on the market town of Beverley, it's an inspiring article which will make you feel proud of East Yorkshire. Click on the link below to read the full story.
